​I am a board certified psychiatrist who specializes in both psychotherapy and medication management services for children, adolescents and adults. In addition to being the Director of Child and Adolescent Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, I maintain a private practice where I provide personalized patient-centered care. I treat patients with a myriad of illnesses, but am specialized in treating individuals with complex psychiatric disorders who often have co-occurring medical illnesses, a history of trauma, or eating disorders.
